Job summary

Apartment Life in Castle Rock, CO seeks a part-time Events and Ministry Coordinator to plan social activities and help people experience God's unconditional love, weaving business with ministry. The role is offsite and pays $20 hourly for 8 hours per month at a community near Castle Rock.

The position requires driving to communities, evenings and weekends availability, and fostering neighbor connections, with monthly summaries and volunteer coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management company
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation for events and vendor connections
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
• Have availability to commit weekly hours, mainly in evenings and weekends
• Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community

Responsibilities

• Cultivate meaningful opportunities to care for and connect with residents, fostering a welcoming community
• Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with the help of other residents and a network of community support
• Enhance online reputation by inviting residents to share online about their experience in the community
• Develop marketing material for activities such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts
• Manage the event budget process
• Prepare monthly summaries
• Meet with staff and program director for planning, equipping, and development
• Engage a support team of volunteers, vendors, and other community partners to maximize impact
