Job summary

The Town of Yountville, CA is hiring a Part-Time Building Attendant to support evening and weekend events at the Community Center and other facilities.

You will set up and break down furniture, greet guests, monitor events, keep spaces clean, and ensure safety and a welcoming environment.

This role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to work independently; CPR/First Aid within 30 days, background check, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Dependable and detail-oriented.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Able to stay calm during busy periods.
• Experience with the public in events or customer service.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for programs, rentals, and events.
• Monitor events and enforce facility rules with a calm, friendly approach.
• Keep spaces clean and presentable, including restrooms and common areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in visitors and event guests.
• Stay on top of safety and security for everyone in the facility.
• Respond to issues quickly - whether it’s a broken light, a spill, or a guest needing help.
• Work independently.
