The City of Smyrna is seeking a Part-time Community Center Attendant for the Smyrna Community Center. Under the general direction of the Parks Facilities Manager, you will coordinate maintenance and room set-ups, manage cash received by the receptionist, and handle patron inquiries in a courteous manner.

Typical hours are 2–3 days per week, up to 20 hours, with weekend shifts required. The position supports events and activities, and may involve occasional building maintenance tasks to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience in facility supervision and working with the public.
• Ability to pass criminal background and credit check.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate maintenance and room set-ups for the Community Center.
• Balance cash received by receptionist to the close out report and secure in safe daily.
• Investigate and resolve patron complaints.
• Interact with vendors to ensure events run as planned.
• May perform room set-ups and general building maintenance as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
