Job summary

Salt Lake Community College is seeking a part-time transportation professional to drive college passenger vans, shuttles, and coaches for campus events and athletics trips. Trips may occur on weekdays, nights, early mornings, and weekends, with routes across Utah and neighboring states as requested.

This role requires safe driving, ADA lift operation, and strong customer service to support diverse students and staff.

• Support diverse student, faculty, and staff populations and ensure passenger safety and comfort during trips.

Job Summary

This job is Part Time and as needed to drive the college passenger vans, shuttle buses, ultra coaches, Motor coaches to different college activities and to drive the college athletics teams to their events. This will include weekdays, nights, early morning, and weekend depending on the request.

Schedules may range from a few hours to multi-day trips. can include out of town and or out of state trips. Driving can include the following states Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming, plus other states as requested.

• Able to safely drive and operate 12 passenger vans, shuttle buses with ADA lifts, 28 to 40 passenger ultra coaches and up to 58 passenger motor coaches.

• Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
