Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Self-direction and motivation to work independently.
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications kept up to date.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Background checks including PA criminal, FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Teach, coach, mentor student-athletes through graduation.
  • Organize, attend, supervise all competitions, practices and events; develop skills.
  • Identify and recruit student performers who excel academically and athletically.
  • Maintain precise recruiting contacts and compliance records with Athletics leadership.
  • Oversee tryouts and medical clearances for all participants.
  • Manage Cheer Team budget; order uniforms and supplies; track expenses.
  • Supervise during basketball games and potential NCAA tournaments.
  • Follow Athletics communications policies on PR and social media.
  • Plan team-building and morale activities; represent La Salle with integrity.
