Job summary

Elms College is seeking a part-time Cheer Program Coach to develop a safe, effective training environment for the cheer team. Responsibilities include leading weekly workouts, coordinating with the Athletics Department, recruiting new members, and advising on budget matters with the SGA.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to Elms College policies. Evening and weekend supervision of practices and performances is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Coaching or athletics administration experience essential.
• ACCCA certification up-to-date.
• Ability to relate to students and campus community.
• Strong organizational and recruiting skills.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement 3 weekly workouts/practices per week.
• Coordinate with athletics for facility use and games.
• Recruit cheerleaders throughout the year.
• Advise on budget and SGA responsibilities.
• Supervise practices and performances; attend events.
• Develop and promote a safe and healthy cheer program.
