Job summary

Kimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is hiring a part-time Cold Foods Stocker to join our team.

This role covers stocking refrigerated and frozen items, providing excellent customer service, rotating stock FIFO, and keeping displays fresh with up-to-date signage.

Shifts are Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.; must be 16+. Part-time benefits include a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401(k) with 3% matching after one year and 1000 hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all.
• Receives and stocks all incoming refrigerated and frozen items, fresh bakery items, and specialty products.
• Stocks and handles products following guidelines for time and temperature demands.
• Rotates back stock on a first-in first-out basis.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department.
• Follows inventory management practices and displays that are abundant and fresh.
• Assists in other areas of the store as needed.

Kimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is hiring for a part-time Cold Foods Stocker!

Availability:

Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.

Set Schedule:

Sundays, Mondays, Friday, and Saturdays. Shifts are within a 9am-8:30pm timeframe

Age Requirement:

Must be 16 years or older

Hourly Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00

Benefits:

Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

The Cold Foods Stocker's Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to all.
• Receives and stocks all incoming refrigerated/frozen items, fresh bakery items and specialty products.
• Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands
• Rotates back stock on a first-in first-out basis
• Works in collaboration with the team lead to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department
• Follows the established practices for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays
• Adheres to KWF inventory management practices
• Assists in other areas of the store as needed

Requirements

Physical Capabilities:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
