Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Darien, CT is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant/RSA for 3p-11p shifts with weekend availability to support our residents in daily activities and safety.

You will work within the Nursing department following care plans, assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals and medications prompting as needed, while maintaining compassionate communication with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene and mobility.
• Provide outstanding customer experience for residents and visitors.
• Maintain awareness of residents' health and report changes to Nursing Staff.
• Respond to emergencies; provide first-aid and arrange medical follow-up.
• Assist with meals, clothing, laundry, and activity programs as assigned.
• Maintain records and complete in-service hours as required.
