Sutter Health is seeking a Part Time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at ASBMC-Summit Campus in Oakland, CA. You will assist with basic patient care, hygiene, nutrition, and skin integrity under RN supervision, while performing routine data collection and helping maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires HS Diploma or equivalent, and CNA certification preferred with BLS required. Prior acute care experience is often valued; benefits and union support are available as part of the total

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• HS Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and recent work related experience. or equivalent education/experience
• CNA-Certified Nurse Assistant Highly Preferred
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Required
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing basic hygiene, promoting nutrition and maintaining skin integrity under the supervision of a registered nurse (R.N.).
• Performs routine data collection and assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Demonstrates a customer-service oriented attitude and works in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Writes routine reports and presents information to customers and employees.
