Job summary

East Bay Post Acute is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full‑time position in our East Bay facility. You will provide compassionate, hands‑on care to residents, assist with ADLs, document vital signs, and support mobility with proper safety techniques.

Requirements include California CNA certification; CPR/BLS preferred. New graduates are welcome, and we offer competitive pay, medical/dental/vision, PTO, holiday pay, and a 401(k). We value teamwork and outstanding resident care.

Qualifications

• Requires California CNA certification.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Post-acute or skilled nursing experience is a plus; new grads welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment delivering resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with ADLs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and document vital signs accurately.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using safety techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation per facility policies.
• Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
