Phoenixsrliving in Hopkinsville, KY seeks a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team. You will provide hands-on care and emotional support in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods, following each resident’s PSP to promote a safe, home-like environment.

Expect 2nd shift part-time hours, Mon-Fri and every other weekend. You will report to the Family Experience Director and assist with daily activities, personal care, and safeguarding resident rights.

Formación

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in development of the Personalized Service Plans and updates; attends plan review meetings with families.
• Follows the hydration schedule established for residents during the shift.
• Completes meal attendance sheets; provides room service if residents do not dine in dining room.
• Knows and complies with all resident rights.
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Checks on assigned resident rooms for cleanliness and takes action; high risk rooms double checked.
• Assists with laundry rooms and common areas; handles hazardous chemicals safely.
• Completes all ADLs for residents per their PSP.
• Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells.
