Penn State is seeking several CNA Instructors to teach at various locations in PA, including Hazleton (Luzerne, Schuylkill, Columbia Counties), Hamburg/Reading, Allentown, York, Harrisburg, and Danville areas.
The CNA Instructor will provide students with skills to meet patients' physical, physiological, and psychological needs. The goal is to prepare students to pass the PA State Licensing Exam and be emotionally ready for work in healthcare facilities.
Must hold a current RN or LPN license for at least 2 years and have at least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility. Teaching experience is preferred. Must obtain or have the ability to obtain the Train the Educator (TTE) Nurse Aide Instructor certificate. Current BLS certification is preferred.
