Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is hiring a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant for the Heart & Vascular Clinic. The role supports licensed nursing staff with patient care activities and helps implement the care plan in a collaborative, compassionate environment.

Shift details include 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Required CNA certification (Nebraska) and BLS within 30 days of hire; beneficial knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Nebraska CNA certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Medication Aide and Injectables may be required after hire.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
