Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Huntington, New York is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, helping with ADLs, vital signs, and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Current NY CNA certification.
• Part-time schedule, including every other weekend.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to providing exceptional care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital signs, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation.
• Report changes in resident condition to licensed nurses and document accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
