Job summary

Salinas Valley Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team in Salinas, CA. This part-time role offers AM and NOC shifts and the opportunity to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care with a supportive, team-oriented culture.

As an active California CNA, you will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, support meals, and ensure infection control while communicating clearly with residents and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification required.
• Reliable, with strong attendance and a dependable, team-oriented work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Must pass a background check and health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Accurately record vital signs and report changes to nursing leadership promptly.
• Assist with meal service, hydration, and general comfort needs to support resident wellness.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control and facility protocols.
• Provide respectful, person-centered care that preserves the dignity and rights of residents.
