Job summary

Covenant Living of Northbrook is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for part-time roles in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Memory Care. You will provide daily resident care, assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility, while maintaining a clean, safe living environment and reporting needs to the nurse manager.

Positions include AM and PM shifts with six-hour blocks; experience and current state CNA registry are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents daily.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner; change linens and tidy spaces.
• Assist with resident laundry and clothing care; coordinate with supervisor as needed.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals.
