Job summary

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Baltimore is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) to deliver safe medication administration and compassionate daily care. You will work 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm with every-other weekend availability, aligned with shift schedules.

Requirements include CMA certification and CNA or CHHA/HHA as applicable, prior CMA experience, and ability to handle multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CMA certification in the state of employment.
• CNA or CHHA/HHA certification required as applicable.
• Previous CMA experience required.
• Experience with oral, topical, ophthalmic and subcutaneous meds.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per orders and policies.
• Provide medications by various routes as permitted.
• Observe and document responses, report changes promptly.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed staff supervision.
• Store and secure medications per regulations and procedures.
• Maintain timely documentation of medication administration.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote resident well-being.
