Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Mira Vie at Bridgewater in Bridgewater, NJ. The part-time role focuses on medication administration and resident care under the Health and Wellness leadership.

The position requires a HHA or CNA license, at least one year of caregiving experience, and supervisory exposure. You will work with the team to deliver high-quality ADL services and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• Six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to meds for residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident service plans and pass medications per orders.
• Document completion of tasks daily.
• Monitor changes in residents' conditions and report as required.
• Communicate with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent care.
• Assist in meal service and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Supervise staff during shifts as assigned.
• Maintain required certifications and attend in-service trainings.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
• Assist with safety and incident investigations when needed.
