Job summary

University Orthopedics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Float for a part-time role based in Plymouth on Tuesdays and North Easton on Wednesdays, with flexible hours available for the rest of the week.

The CMA will aid physicians and physician assistants with patient care, DME fitting, casting/splinting, and related clinical tasks, while ensuring accurate documentation and smooth patient flow across sites.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills and ability to document accurately
• Strong communication with patients and team
• Proficiency with EHR and basic software (Word/Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and assist during examinations
• Take vital signs and review medical history
• Assist clinicians with procedures and wound care
• Educate patients about medications and diet
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate charting
