Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Rhode Island in Woonsocket is seeking a Club Access Specialist to welcome our Clubhouse members. This part‑time hourly position works with volunteers, parents, and the community to ensure the Club is a safe, enriching, and fun environment.

Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available, up to 29 hours per week, with starting pay of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. This role includes front-desk duties and basic data entry in Daxko Operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communications and computer skills.
• Two years administrative experience preferred in a Boys & Girls Club or similar environment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Must be CPR, First Aid and AED certified.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, or hear as needed.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• May work indoors and outdoors in varying environments.
• Pass all BCI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the front access door to the facility.
• Professionally handle telephone calls and route callers or answer questions timely and courteously.
• Identify, greet, and direct individuals entering the facility and enforce entry policies.
• Make site-wide announcements regarding member pick up, program announcements and crisis communications.
• Oversee and maintain the Daxko Operations database and ensure data integrity.
• Generate membership and attendance records and other reports using the database and records.
• Complete and record membership fees; assist program staff with site operations.
• Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
