Job summary

CMU Health is seeking a licensed Clinical Therapist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Michigan. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and a supportive environment focused on ethical, evidence-based care.

You will conduct intakes, create treatment plans, and collaborate with medical staff to deliver coordinated care using DSM-5 aligned interventions. A Master's degree (or higher) and Michigan licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or PhD/PsyD in a relevant field.
• Clinical licensure in Michigan (LPC, LMSW, LLP, or LP preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in mental health counseling (preferred).
• Strong rapport-building skills and a commitment to ethical, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a part-time clinical caseload (up to 40 hours/week) with 60-minute therapy visits.
• Conduct mental health intakes, diagnostic assessments, and individualized treatment planning.
• Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in alignment with DSM-5 standards.
