Job summary

Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center in Miami, FL seeks a part-time Clinical Staff Nurse (CSN) to champion quality patient care and apply nursing judgment in planning and delivering care. The CSN will uphold professional standards, HIPAA, and CARE values while coordinating with the care team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient teaching, and collaborative care within the JHS CARE Model, supporting both patient outcomes and staff development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required; BSN degree is preferred.
• Valid Florida RN license is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) with 6 months validity required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care with physician and other provider and healthcare staff.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in applying nursing knowledge.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care, care plans and observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Follows patient rounds to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides functional direction to LPNs and CNAs as assigned and completes new staff orientation.
