Job summary

Kreg Therapeutics is seeking a Clinical Specialist to partner with hospitals and healthcare teams. This role focuses on clinical education, engagement, and adoption of Vertical Bed Technology and Bariatric Beds within ICU and trauma settings, including Level I and II centers.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5+ years in critical care, strong clinical knowledge of patient safety, and the ability to educate clinicians using evidence-based practices. Travel to hospital sites is expected.

Qualifications

  • Licensed healthcare professional: RN, RT, PT, or OT preferred.
  • 3–5+ years in a critical care or acute care clinical setting.
  • Experience with invasive medical devices, early mobility programs, and safe patient handling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Educate clinical teams on Verticalization Therapy (VT) and early mobility.
  • Advocate for Bariatric Bed technology within partner accounts.
  • Support clinicians with patient identification, therapy protocols, and product utilization.
  • Collaborate with ICU leadership to develop or update protocols and clinical criteria.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting for Kreg products.
  • Partner with Account Managers on clinical trials, including data collection and clinician feedback.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate bed fleet availability.
  • Build relationships with key clinical stakeholders and deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Develop clinical education materials and document in Monday.com; attend conferences as SME when needed.

About The Role

The Clinical Specialist plays a vital role in advancing patient care by serving as a trusted clinical partner to healthcare teams at leading hospitals. Working closely with the Account Manager and Commercial Sales Team, this role focuses on clinical education, engagement, and adoption of Kreg Therapeutics’ Vertical Bed Technology and Bariatric Beds within ICU and trauma environments, including Level I and II trauma centers.

As a Clinical Specialist, you will leverage your critical care expertise to support hospitals through new implementations, re-engagements, and ongoing utilization of innovative technologies that enhance early mobility, safety, and patient outcomes.

This position is ideal for a clinically driven professional who enjoys education, collaboration, and building long-term relationships with healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Education & Engagement

  • Educate multidisciplinary clinical teams on Verticalization Therapy (VT) and its role in early mobility programs, patient safety, and improved outcomes
  • Serve as a clinical advocate for Kreg’s Bariatric Bed technology, providing education and support within strategic partner accounts
  • Support clinicians with patient identification, therapy protocols, and appropriate product utilization

Clinical Support & Program Development

  • Collaborate with ICU leadership to develop or enhance protocols, policies, and clinical criteria
  • Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting support related to Kreg products
  • Partner with Account Managers to support clinical trials, including data collection and clinician feedback

Product Demonstrations & Implementation

  • Conduct product demonstrations and evaluations in collaboration with sales and operations teams
  • Coordinate with local operations for bed fleet management to ensure product availability and functionality

Relationship Building & Customer Experience

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Deliver high levels of customer service through ongoing training, education, and engagement

Resource Development & Reporting

  • Contribute to the development of clinical education materials and resources
  • Complete required documentation and reporting in tools such as Monday.com, including expense reporting
  • Attending conferences and industry events as a subject matter expert when needed

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Licensed healthcare professional: Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist (RT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OT preferred)

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a critical care or acute care clinical setting

Clinical Knowledge

  • Experience with invasive medical devices, early mobility programs, and safe patient handling
  • Ability to educate clinicians on new clinical practices and protocol development using evidence-based approaches

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence adoption of new technologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Travel & Hours

  • Willingness to travel to hospital sites, including approximately 50% local travel (subject to change based on business needs)
  • expected 16-24 hours per week)


Preferred (Nice To Have)

  • Critical care certifications such as CCRN, RRT-ACCS, PT-CCS
  • Prior experience in medical device or clinical technology environments
