Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) invites applications for a 12-month, part-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Speech-Language Pathology program.

The role includes supervising graduate student clinicians, providing and supervising clinical services at TTUHSC’s Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic and the VA Clinic in Lubbock, and participating in professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Evidence of at least 3 years of clinical practice with a focus on adult services.
• Commitment to working with graduate student clinicians.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and Texas licensure (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor graduate student clinicians at TTUHSC and VA clinics.
• Provide clinical services to patients at TTUHSC clinic and the VA Clinic in Lubbock.
• Contribute to department, university, and profession through service.
• Participate in clinical simulations and guest lectures as requested.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
