Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the occupation to be taught.
• Three years of post-secondary education in the career and technical discipline, combined with work experience in the career and technical discipline
• Current CMA/NCMA/CCMA credential or RN preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Understanding of MAERB Standards and ability to support accreditation compliance
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise students in clinical skills, including vital signs, patient preparation, phlebotomy, and basic procedures
• Medical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) use
• Evaluate and document student performance in clinical skill competencies in line with curriculum and MAERB standards
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to students to achieve course objectives
• Maintain a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with program faculty and staff to ensure curriculum alignment and accreditation compliance
