Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited institution and a current PA RN license required.
• BSN-prepared nurses eligible but MSN must be completed within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates formative and summative simulation sessions at the undergraduate level.
• Provides feedback on pre-simulation assignments to prepare the learner for an active and engaging educational experience.
• Fosters clinical judgement by posing reflective questions during debriefing.
• Provides a safe learning environment to ensure an optimal learning experience.
• Courses: All undergraduate clinical courses (Health Assessment, Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Obstetrical, Community, Psychiatric Mental Health, and Leadership Nursing).
• The candidate will teach in the Department of Biobehavioral Health Sciences or Department of Family and Community Health in the School of Nursing.
