Job summary

ActivMed Practices & Research in Methuen, MA seeks a Clinical Research Physician to serve as Principal Investigator for Phase I–IV studies, working 16–18 hours per week. The role requires adherence to ICH/GCP, HIPAA, and study protocol standards at the site and with sponsors.

MD or DO with an active license, board certification, and direct patient-facing experience are required; bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active license in state of practice
• Board certification in specialty
• CPR required; ACLS preferred
• Direct patient-facing experience required

Responsibilities

• Ensures medical well-being and safety of participants per FDA/ICH/GCP and protocol
• Site leadership focusing on safety, efficiency, and compliance
• Evaluates participants to ensure eligibility for trials
• Participates in delivery and retention of study participants
• Interacts with sponsors, clients and team members
• Maintains accurate data recording and confidentiality per HIPAA
• Involves in protocol training for staff
• Participates in Investigator Meetings and continuing education
