Job summary

Denali Health Atlanta is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to deliver protocol‑compliant care to clinical-trial participants on-site in Atlanta, GA. The role involves collaboration with PIs, study coordinators, and the Denali research team, with a flexible schedule and a hands‑on patient‑care focus.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted GA NP/PA‑C license, national certification, and BLS, with 2+ years of direct patient care and an interest in clinical research.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted GA license as NP or PA‑C.
• National certification in a relevant practitioner role.
• BLS (ACLS preferred).
• 2+ years of direct patient-care experience in related settings.
• Familiarity with clinical research and FDA/GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform protocol‑specified physical exams, medical histories, and study visits.
• Assess eligibility criteria and co‑sign documentation with the PI.
• Order and interpret labs/diagnostics per study requirements.
• Counsel participants on study procedures and adverse‑event reporting.
• Manage and document AEs/SAEs, escalating as required.
• Maintain GCP‑compliant source notes and EMR documentation.
• Support recruitment and retention initiatives (community outreach, phone screenings).
• Participate in investigator meetings, SIVs, monitoring visits, and audits.
• Contribute to improvement of site SOPs and quality metrics.
