Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join as a Clinical Research Physician supporting Phase I-IV trials in Tucson, AZ. Part-time (0-8 hours/week).

You will ensure protocol compliance, patient safety, and collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and research teams to advance multi-therapeutic studies.

Ideal candidates hold MD/DO with AZ license, board certification in cardiology, DEA, BLS/ACLS and have clinical research experience or training.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active Arizona medical license.
• Board-certified in Cardiologist.
• DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Clinical trials experience preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PI or Sub-I for clinical trials.
• Conduct medical screenings, exams, and assessments.
• Ensure adherence to protocols, ICH-GCP, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with coordinators, nurses, and staff for compliance and documentation.
• Record patient interactions, manage AEs/SAEs, and maintain EHR/EDC compliance.
• Build relationships with sponsors, CROs, monitors, and IRBs.
• Participate in site initiation visits, monitoring visits, audits, and investigator meetings.
• Contribute to feasibility reviews, study design, and recruitment strategies.
• Stay current with regulations and therapeutic advances.
