Job summary

ProTouch Staffing in Houston, TX is seeking a board-certified Clinical Research Cardiologist for a part-time, dayshift role. You will oversee protocol compliance, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and cross-functional teams to drive the success of Phase I-IV clinical trials.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO with Texas licensure, board certification in cardiology, a DEA license, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active TX medical license.
• Board certification in cardiology.
• DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Experience in clinical research/clinical trials preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR, EDC and CTMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PI or Sub-I for dermatology-focused and multi-therapeutic clinical trials.
• Conduct medical screenings and physical examinations for study participants.
• Provide clinical oversight and medical care to subjects per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses and research staff to ensure compliance and documentation.
• Document patient interactions, AEs/SAEs, and maintain EHR/EDC documentation.
