Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC is seeking a part-time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide quarterly on-site visits across the California region. You will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop and monitor care plans, and educate residents and staff on nutrition care.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Dietetics, is registered with the CDR, and brings 1 year of clinical experience. Flexible schedule and travel reimbursement are offered to support quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Experience with reviewing menus for facilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to develop and monitor improvement plans.
• Proficiency in providing general nutrition guidance and care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Review and approve menu to meet USDA guidelines.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and document findings.
• Perform other tasks within scope of practice as needed.
• Adhere to all facility policy and procedures.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide vital nutritional care through quarterly on-site visits. Schedule: Flexible

Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.
  
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
  
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes as needed.
  
• Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines
  
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed.
  
• Adheres to all facility policy and procedure
  

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
