Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of clinicians. You will provide high-quality patient care with flexible in-person and remote work options, including telehealth.

The role offers 8 hours per week, with 50% remote work and only biweekly onsite visits. A dynamic team provides support to focus on nutrition care in skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state).
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Capable of applying critical thinking to assess objectives and implement improvement plans.
• Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
• Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations.
• Competency in electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews for high-risk residents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (CMS and DOH).
• Monitor resident weight changes weekly and/or monthly to identify nutrition/hydration status changes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and document findings with corrective actions.
• Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to meet USDA guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned within scope of practice.

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of exceptional clinicians. You will have the ongoing support of our dedicated team, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care

Overview: This exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian offers a flexible and rewarding work-life balance with a blend of in-person and remote work options.

Schedule: 8 hours per week, 50% completed remotely via telehealth

Flexibility : Choose your days and hours. Only 1 onsite visit biweekly is required. The remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth.

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility

Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience with additional paid travel time to and from the facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes as needed.
  
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  
• Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed.
  

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
