Job summary

Chamberlain University seeks Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty to teach in the BSN Nursing program in Oklahoma City, OK. You will mentor students in inpatient clinical settings, bridging classroom learning with real-world patient care.

No teaching experience is required, but nurses with MSN or higher are encouraged to apply, and Illinois licensure may be needed for certain courses. This role supports the College’s clinical education goals and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• An unencumbered professional RN nursing license in Oklahoma.
• Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors currently licensed in Illinois).
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network).
• At least two years professional teaching experience as a registered nurse or related instructional role.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
• Assumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care.
• Keeps course coordinator informed of student and agency issues and concerns.
• Works with college administration and faculty to improve student satisfaction rates.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with policies and standards.
