Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting clinical education experiences for students enrolled in Central Carolina Technical College’s nursing programs. This position serves as a liaison between the College, clinical faculty, and clinical partners to ensure effective clinical placement, student preparation, and compliance with program and accreditation requirements. The Clinical Coordinator assists with scheduling clinical experiences, maintaining student and clinical records, monitoring student progress, and supporting the evaluation of clinical learning outcomes. The position also promotes strong relationships with clinical agencies and contributes to the continuous improvement of clinical education.

Key responsibilities include: coordinating clinical placements and schedules, communicating with clinical partners, maintaining required documentation, supporting student and faculty orientation, monitoring clinical performance, and ensuring compliance within institutional and program standards.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Associate degree or higher with experience in a health-related field. Experience coordinating clinical education, student clinical placements, or healthcare clinical operations preferred. Knowledge of clinical education practices, student evaluation, and healthcare facility requirements preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, clinical preceptors, and healthcare partners. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic student, clinical tracking, and scheduling systems. Ability to maintain confidential student and clinical records and comply with college policies and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
