Job summary

UnityPoint Health, West Des Moines clinic, is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Clinic RN to support Lakeview Internal Medicine. The role is 24 hours per week with flexible hours in the Lakeview area of West Des Moines, IA.

You will assist physicians during exams, room patients, document histories and vitals in the EHR, and educate patients on treatment plans. Prior outpatient experience and Iowa RN licensure are preferred; EPIC familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• RN licensure with Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Prior outpatient/clinical experience preferred.
• EPIC familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures.
• Room patients and record histories, vitals, and EHR entries.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per licensure.
• Educate patients on health, meds, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals and patient follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
