Job summary

Calvin University seeks a Clinic Instructor to partner with the Clinic Director in delivering high-quality clinical services within the on-campus clinic. The role supports student training through evaluation, family counseling, and ongoing CEU activities.

Responsibilities include supervising speech-language pathology services, maintaining client pools, and coordinating with external agencies while ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Three to five years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
• Proficiency in Spanish is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with diagnostic and therapeutic services in the clinic.
• Maintain a pool of clients for the on-campus clinic.
• Conduct evaluations and develop interventions for clinic clients.
• Document client and student progress.
• Provide family counseling.
• Mentor students for practicum experiences.
• Maintain Continuing Education in related topics.
• Write daily progress reports and semester evaluations for students.
• Meet at least weekly with students to discuss progress.
• Liaise with outside agencies and ensure HIPAA/OSHA standards.
