Job summary

Bouldering Project in Seattle is seeking a part-time Wall Maintenance Specialist to keep climbing walls clean, safe, and ready for routesetting rotations. This role involves 7-8 hours per week on Thursday and Friday mornings, with shifts split between Fremont and University District locations.

You will remove holds and volumes, wash surfaces, organize tools, and help maintain the Setting Shop while following safety procedures and facility guidelines. Prioritize reliability and self-direction.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Remove modular climbing holds, volumes, tape, chalk, rubber, and detritus from climbing walls.
• Safely use approved cleaning products and procedures to wash climbing surfaces, holds and volumes.
• Maintain clean and functioning climbing walls.
• Wash and organize holds following directions of Head Setter.
• Organize and maintain Setting and Wall Maintenance supplies and tools.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Setting Shop.
• Follow closing/facility procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
