Job summary

Patriot Group International Inc. seeks a Part-Time Cleared Armed Security Officer in the Culpeper/Springfield area to protect client data centers. The role requires TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, a 12-hour Panama schedule, and adherence to strict security protocols.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, enforcing policies, and maintaining incidents and alarms responses. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year security or 2 years military service, and Virginia license

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of one (1) year of security, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or a minimum of two (2) years of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete Virginia Security Guard License application and background checks.
• Ability to complete firearms training in compliance with Virginia Security Guard License requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve knowledge of post orders, policies, procedures, and conduct standards.
• Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing client and PGI policies, badges, locks, and inspections.
• Provide security protection for client and PGI personnel and property within the area of responsibility.
• Report incidents and respond to security and safety concerns per post orders, including alarms.
• Monitor security cameras and other electronic surveillance systems.
• Guide and direct individuals throughout the site.
• Assist in controlling locks and doors and related access control.
• Perform tests and inspections of alarms, locks, doors, and access control mechanisms.
• Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property.
• Promote communication of data center security policies to clients and vendors.
• Maintain competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity; comply with PGI and client policies.
• Execute and deliver site reports as directed by the Site Manager.
• Complete mandatory sustainment training and related duties.
