Job summary

Patriot Group International (PGI) is hiring a Part-Time Cleared Armed Security Officer to join our team in the Culpeper/Springfield, VA area. This role requires TS/SCI with a poly, 12-hour Panama schedule, and compliance with all client and PGI security policies.

The position involves enforcing access control, responding to alarms, patrolling, and coordinating with the Site Manager. VA license and sustainment training are required, with opportunities to grow within our security and risk

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of security experience, or 1 year of local/state/federal law enforcement, or 2 years of honorable military service.
Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain Virginia Security Guard License.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve knowledge of post orders, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing client/PGI policies including badging, locks, keys, and inspections.
Provide security protection for personnel and property within the area of responsibility.
Respond to incidents and alarms per post orders and report accordingly.
Monitor security cameras and other surveillance systems.
Guide and direct individuals on site and control access points when needed.
Promote awareness of security policies to client employees, vendors, and others.
Maintain competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity per PGI and client policies.
Execute and deliver reports assigned by the Site Manager.
Complete required sustainment training and assist with armory and equipment maintenance.
