Job summary

A to Z Building Blocks in Utah is seeking a dependable Cleaner to help keep our child care center clean, safe, and welcoming for children each day. This is a part-time role with a pay range of $13.00–$14.00 per hour and a roughly 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

You’ll perform general cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs while meeting safety standards. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are important.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to pass a background check.
• Cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, sinks, counters, and floors.
• Sweep and tidy classrooms and shared spaces.
• Clean hallways, entryways, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Sanitize drinking fountains and common areas.
• Complete weekly deep-cleaning tasks.
• Help with kitchen cleaning and dishes.
• Restock supplies and report maintenance needs.
