Job summary

Pro-Serv Commercial Cleaning is hiring a General Cleaner in Cody, WY for evening shifts at $18 per hour. You must be 18 or older, may have janitorial experience, and must be able to speak English. A pre-employment criminal background check is required.

Duties include cleaning tasks and maintaining a safe, sanitary workplace. You will empty wastebaskets, sweep, mop and vacuum, restrooms sanitation, restock supplies, and follow safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years old.
• Janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
• Pre-employment criminal background check required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs sometimes more.

Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to disposal area.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors with brooms, mops and vacuums; some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Stock and replenish supplies.
• Follow safety policies and procedures (locking doors, proper chemical use, incident reporting).
• Clean restrooms; take out the trash; sanitize.

Job Duties:

• As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail.

You will be:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors using brooms, mops and manual or backpack vacuum cleaners. Some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
