Job summary

Advantage Investigations is seeking a part-time Claims Investigator in Orlando, FL to conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and worker’s compensation claims in support of client objectives. Training and door-to-door pay are provided, with mileage reimbursement at IRS rates and daily travel within the assigned territory.

The role requires at least 3 years of claims investigation experience, bilingual Spanish is preferred, and proficiency with case management systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3 years insurance claims investigative experience required.
• Investigation experience or relatable experience preferred.
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred.
• Full comprehension of case management systems.
• Able to proactively conduct follow-ups as needed.
• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills.
• Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Office, email, and producing quality written reports.
• Self-Starter with disciplined work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Daily access to a reliable vehicle.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Pass Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and worker’s compensation claims.
• Independently review assignments, supporting documentation, and case information prior to on-site work.
• Consult with Manager on strategies for each case during investigation.
• Locate subjects and conduct on-site investigations, including alive and well checks, statements, and scene inspections.
• Create and maintain written updates, photos, audio, diagrams, and final reports in a timely, professional manner.
• Demonstrate time management and strong communication skills.
• Handle confidential information and materials.
