Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Wellness Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Childcare Program Assistant on a flexi status, 8–12 hrs/wk. You will support safety and well‑being of children in our programs, from newborns to teens, providing nurturing care and engaging activities for ages 0 weeks to 17 years.

The role requires rotating weekday mornings and evenings, with shifts Mon-Sat 8am-1pm and Mon-Thu 4pm-7:30pm, plus assisting with events and program activities.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year related childcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of children in programs.
• Provide nurturing care and age-appropriate activities for ages 0 weeks to 17 years.
• Assist with events and youth program activities.
