Virtua Health’s Child Development Center in Voorhees is seeking a part-time Teacher Assistant to support classroom activities and daily operations. The role supports dependent care for Virtua employees, enabling them to focus on their duties.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, be enrolled or willing to complete ECE units within a year, and demonstrate a positive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; willing to complete ECE units within one year.
• Two or more years of formal childcare experience preferred.
• Team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise children indoors and outdoors following developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assist in preparation and follow-through on materials for age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of classroom, playground and center.
