Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs in Seattle. You will help plan and deliver daily activities, maintain a safe, nurturing environment, and model positive guidance for children.

Pay ranges $21.63–$22 per hour (based on education and experience). Schedule is Monday–Friday split shifts (6:30am–9:15am; 3:15pm–6:00pm, Fridays 1:45pm–6:00pm); actual hours are based on program needs. Right At School is an Equal Opportunity employer.

Right At School Childcare, Educator

Educator Pay Range: $21.63 -$22 per hour (based on education and experience)

Monday-Friday Split Shift, must be available all 5 days for both shifts each day.

Before School Shift: 6:30am-9:15am and After School Shift: 3:15pm-6pm (Friday 1:45pm-6pm)

Actual schedule will be based off needs of the programs

You’ll Drive The Mission By

• Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
• First Aid and CPR-in-person
• Cleared tuberculosis test
• Proof of MMR
• 18+ years of age
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required
