BrightPath Kids in Redding, CT, is looking for a Teacher Assistant for a part‑time role with hours from 1:00 to 6:00 PM and no evenings or weekends. Paid training is provided for classroom procedures, and you’ll join a supportive team that values safety and family engagement.

You will assist teachers, help maintain a warm learning environment, and communicate with parents to share updates about their child.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Provide a home-like, safe and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Support classroom setup and decor as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe space and help children explore and learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
