Hillsborough College is seeking a part-time laboratory assistant to monitor and coordinate activities in assigned chemistry laboratories and provide support for safe lab operations. The position will not exceed 29 working hours per week and requires schedule flexibility by term.

Responsibilities include assisting with preparation of materials and equipment and maintaining the organization and security of stockrooms and labs. Prior chemistry knowledge and safety awareness are preferred.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of 60 semester hours or AA/AS degree.
• Preferred: CHML 2211 and junior status in chemistry.
• Knowledge of basic chemistry lab procedures and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Assists full-time Lab staff with preparing materials and equipment for lab exercises.
• Maintains organization, cleanliness and security of stockroom, prep areas and labs.
