Saint Joseph’s University invites applications for an adjunct position in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Lancaster Campus. The role involves teaching General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Biochemistry to undergraduate students, in lecture and/or lab settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) and demonstrates commitment to undergraduate teaching, with preparedness to work on a semester-by-semester basis under non-tenure track terms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.

Responsabilités

• Provide support and guidance to students.
• Instruct an assigned course providing syllabi and other instructional materials.
• Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction.
• Prepare and deliver course materials (lectures, labs, assignments, assessments) in alignment with departmental learning goals.
• Maintain course records, grade assignments, and submit final grades in a timely manner.
• Provide students with regular feedback on performance and be available during office hours or by appointment.
• Adhere to departmental and university policies and deadlines.
• Coordinate with course coordinators and laboratory staff as needed
