Job summary

LACASA Collection in Howell, MI is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to support our mission by delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Evening and weekend availability is required; prior retail experience and strong math/communication skills are essential. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. This nonprofit organization funds critical programs for victims of abuse.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail sales environment is preferred.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong math and organizational skills are essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Assisting customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing information about LACASA and its mission
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, tidying displays, and keeping the store well-maintained
• Assisting in receiving and organizing donation processing
• Participating in store promotional events and sales initiatives to drive revenue and support fundraising efforts
• Collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Following store policies and procedures, including cash handling, as well as safety and security protocols
