Job summary

MCHAP is seeking a Part-Time Chaplain in Sycamore, IL to serve employees and their families, offering spiritual care across client sites. This role emphasizes compassion, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

The chaplain will visit worksites, provide pastoral conversations, support during grief, and collaborate with HR and leadership. Remote field position with variable hours 2–4 per week; bilingual preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visits worksites weekly to build relationships and trust.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for employees and families.
• Assists in planning or attending funerals for employees and/or family members.
• Coordinates referrals for specialized assistance as needed.
• Supports employees and immediate families during grief and transitions.
• Responds to emergencies with compassion and discretion.
